Theme: Ajé Our theme this year, Aje is drawn from Yoruba mythology, and represents the female goddess of wealth. Ajé encompasses not just material wealth – but also wisdom, well-being, good fortune, and holistic prosperity. Our host city, Lagos is the historical capital of the Yoruba, but the ethnic group cuts across Benin, Togo and other West African countries – transcending borders and adding a layer of shared community to our theme. Our hope is that this gathering enriches each woman holistically, as we build community and chart a collective path for shared prosperity across Africa

The Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (PEVCA), Nigeria was formally established in March 2017 to be a member-driven, self-regulating body representing the private equity and venture capital industry (PE-VC) in Nigeria. PEVCA is the industry and advocacy body promoting private equity and venture capital in Nigeria. With a growing membership of private capital investors and advisors, PEVCA’s vision is to foster an enabling environment for the industry to thrive in Nigeria. PEVCA membership profile cuts across all aspects of private equity activity to include venture capital operators, general and limited partners, institutional investors, professional services firms supporting the industry, family offices, HNIs and academic or research-based institutions.
East Africa Venture Capital Association (EAVCA) is a business membership organization that serves as the voice of private capital investors in East Africa. The Association was formed in 2013 to promote partnership between capital providers and business in the region, while at the same time showcasing the opportunities for investment in East Africa. The Ghana Venture Capital Association (GVCA) is the foremost voice for venture capital and private equity in Ghana. GVCA acts as a key connector within Ghana’s investment ecosystem, linking institutional investors, fund managers, portfolio companies, advisors, and service providers. Our growing membership consists of firms, including venture capital and private equity companies, institutional investors, and professional services entities. We advocate on behalf of our members to influential stakeholders, including government agencies, media, and other relevant organizations.
The Southern African Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (SAVCA) is a non-profit industry association, representing 212 members in Southern Africa, who collectively manage in excess of R213bn in assets.
