Private Equity Women Investor Network (PEWIN) is an organization that provides an intimate forum for senior women general partners, limited partners and private equity professionals to network, share investment ideas, explore potential opportunities to work together and generally increase the profile of female leaders in our industry. Founded in 2008, this invitation-only group currently has over 1200 members globally at the most senior levels of their respective firms. PEWIN has also become a natural network for its many women CIOs and hosts several high profile CIO Roundtable events throughout the year in various locations where our members gain unprecedented access to this elite group of women leaders in the industry.

The 2X Global community comprises investment leaders, intermediaries, and other influential voices from across the capital spectrum, in both developed and emerging markets. 2X Global is committed to including diverse perspectives for the best possible social and financial outcomes. 2X Global engages its global network through a series of activities that advance intersectional investment agendas, scale the field, shift mindsets, and facilitate capital deployment. These include a series of Communities of Practice, educational forums, shared resources, certification and standards, and deal-sharing platforms.

The African Private Capital Association (AVCA) is the nexus of private capital in Africa, championing and enabling private capital investment in Africa. As the pan-African industry body, AVCA plays a significant role as an effective change agent for the industry and acts as the trusted independent source of information, insight, and intelligence inspiring investor confidence; making the case for both commercial returns and impact of private capital in Africa. AVCA represents a community of capital allocators, investors, fund managers, advisors, entrepreneurs and professional services committed to our shared vision of a prosperous Africa that is sustainable, inclusive, and innovative.

The Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (PEVCA), Nigeria was formally established in March 2017 to be a member-driven, self-regulating body representing the private equity and venture capital industry (PE-VC) in Nigeria. PEVCA is the industry and advocacy body promoting private equity and venture capital in Nigeria. With a growing membership of private capital investors and advisors, PEVCA’s vision is to foster an enabling environment for the industry to thrive in Nigeria. PEVCA membership profile cuts across all aspects of private equity activity to include venture capital operators, general and limited partners, institutional investors, professional services firms supporting the industry, family offices, HNIs and academic or research-based institutions.

East Africa Venture Capital Association (EAVCA) is a business membership organization that serves as the voice of private capital investors in East Africa. The Association was formed in 2013 to promote partnership between capital providers and business in the region, while at the same time showcasing the opportunities for investment in East Africa. Today, EAVCA serves as the interlinking platform for public stakeholders, local businesses, and private investors, building on dialogue and industry insights to create a sustainable, informed eco-system that advances economic growth, social and environmental welfare and wealth creation in the region. With offices in Kenya and a regional office in Uganda, EAVCA’s membership comprises financing institutions such as: development finance institutions, private equity and venture capital funds, impact funds, family offices and intermediary advisory companies.

The Ghana Venture Capital Association (GVCA) is the foremost voice for venture capital and private equity in Ghana. GVCA acts as a key connector within Ghana’s investment ecosystem, linking institutional investors, fund managers, portfolio companies, advisors, and service providers. Our growing membership consists of firms, including venture capital and private equity companies, institutional investors, and professional services entities. We advocate on behalf of our members to influential stakeholders, including government agencies, media, and other relevant organizations.

The Southern African Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (SAVCA) is a non-profit industry association, representing 212 members in Southern Africa, who collectively manage in excess of R213bn in assets. SAVCA promotes Southern African private equity and venture capital by engaging with regulators and legislators on a range of matters affecting the industry; providing relevant and insightful thought leadership and research on aspects that impact the industry; offering training and capacity building opportunities to stakeholders in the ecosystem; and by creating meaningful networking opportunities for industry players, investors and capital seekers.
