PEWIN Welcomes New Board Directors and Officers

Organization embraces new leadership and honors highly valued individuals who are completing their successful board tenures.

Private Equity Women Investor Network (PEWIN) Welcomes New Board Directors and Officers
Organization recognizes outgoing leadership who have completed successful tenures, contributing to exciting membership growth and program expansion  

New York – January 6, 2026 – The Private Equity Women Investor Network (“PEWIN”), the preeminent organization for senior-level women in private markets, today announced exciting updates to its Board of Directors for 2026, welcoming new leaders and honoring highly valued individuals who are completing their successful tenures.

The newly-elected PEWIN Board Members, who will serve four-year terms, are:

  • Ana Maria Harrison, Partner, Investor Relations, Adams Street Partners (London, U.K.)
  • Jennifer James, Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer, Head of Investor Relations and Marketing, Thoma Bravo (San Francisco, CA)
  • Elizabeth Weindruch, Managing Director, Diversified Alternative Equity, Barings (Charlotte, NC)

The newly-elected PEWIN Officers for 2026-2027 are:

  • Chair: Jill Kitazaki, President of Denning & Company
  • Vice Chair: Alison Killilea, Co-Founder & General Partner, 1EP
  • Secretary: Sarah Samuels, CIO, NEPC
  • Treasurer (returning): Bronwyn Bailey, Managing Director, Fund Banking Group, J.P. Morgan Private Bank

“As PEWIN continues to expand its global reach and impact, this leadership transition marks a moment to celebrate the remarkable women who have guided our organization through a period of significant growth and to welcome the accomplished leaders who will carry its mission forward,” said Dana Johns, 2023-2025 Chair of PEWIN. “Our incoming Board and Officer slate represent the highest caliber investors who are committed to our mission of uniting, empowering and advancing women across the private markets.”

The organization extends its deepest gratitude to the outgoing Board Members for their extraordinary leadership, dedication, and vision. All departing leaders hold the unique distinction of being part of PEWIN’s first Board of Directors, which was established in 2023:

  • Meghna Desai, Principal, BharCap Partners: Served as PEWIN Treasurer and Finance Committee member
  • Meghan Reynolds, Partner and Head of Capital Formation & Talent, Altimeter Capital: Co-Led the PEWIN Partnership program and 10 year Anniversary celebration
  • Joanne Yoo, Partner, DPI: Co-led the Membership Committee, PEWIN AGM, CIO Roundtable, London Chapter and founded Africa’s CONVENE event.

In addition, Dana Johns, Partner, Courage Small Business Partners, successfully completed her role as PEWIN’s first Board Chair, and will continue on the Board as Immediate Past Chair for the coming year.

Our outgoing Board members have guided this community with integrity, purpose, and a deep commitment to advancing women’s leadership across private markets,” said Jill Kitazaki, Incoming Chair of PEWIN. “Through their stewardship, each has uniquely contributed an exceptional depth of experience, passion, and commitment to elevating our membership and the organization at large. Their perspectives as leaders, investors, and builders of global platforms have been invaluable as PEWIN expanded its reach, strengthened its programming, and served as the premier community for senior women in private markets worldwide.”

The 2026 Board members and officers assumed their roles on January 1. Under its leadership, PEWIN will continue to advance its mission while stewarding a global community of more than 1,700 members and alumni. The Board will also support the continued growth and evolution of PEWIN’s programming, including hosting more than 100 annual events, Pinklight, Circles, ASCEND, the LP Peer-to-Peer Series, Pinnacle AGM, and initiatives in support of the PEWIN Foundation.

About Our Incoming Board Members
Ana Maria Harrison is Partner, Investor Relations at Adams Street Partners in London UK, where she works closely with clients in the development and monitoring of their programs, and is involved in the portfolio construction and monitoring of the various FoFs and separate accounts. Ana Maria is a member of Adams Street’s New Product Committee and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. Prior to joining Adams Street in 2013, Ana Maria worked at Signia Wealth, a multi-family office, as Head of Private Equity. Additional previous experience includes her role as Executive Director of the Private Equity Group at UBS Global Wealth Management following her tenure at The Citigroup Private Bank as Director in the Global Wealth Management, Alternative Investments Group. Ana Maria holds a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University and an MBA from INSEAD. She has served as Co-chair of the PEWIN Membership Committee and a leader for the London Chapter.

Jennifer James is Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer, Head of Investor Relations and Marketing, at Thoma Bravo in San Francisco. She is responsible for leading Thoma Bravo’s business operations strategy, supporting the needs of current and prospective investors, and directing the firm’s industry communications programs. Since joining the firm in 2015, Jennifer has played a pivotal role in not only scaling Thoma Bravo from approximately $8 billion to over $180 billion in assets under management, but also in shaping the investor experience behind one of private equity’s most successful growth stories. Jennifer serves on the board of the Bravo Family Foundation, and on the advisory board of SEO Scholars San Francisco. Jennifer holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and an A.B. in history from Bowdoin College. She has played a pivotal role in the PEWIN Partnership and ASCEND programs.

Liz Weindruch is Managing Director, Diversified Alternative Equity, at Barings in Charlotte, NC, and serves on its investment committee. She is responsible for originating and underwriting funds, co-investment, and secondary opportunities globally. Liz has worked in the industry since 2004. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, she was with the Wells Fargo Investment Institute where she led the strategy, diligence, and implementation efforts for private equity and private real estate products across the alternative investments platform. Prior to that, she served in a similar role at Citi Private Bank, and prior to that, she underwrote funds and co-investments at Brooke Private Equity Associates. Liz holds a B.A. in political science from Davidson College and serves as Trustee/Head of the Investment Committee for the Heifer Foundation. She has served on the PEWIN Pinnacle Committee and the organization’s LPAC, and currently serves on the Investment Committee for the YWCA of the Carolinas.
